Happy beginning of March. With the cold wave hitting Europe, we can’t wait no more for spring and warmer days. Although these colds days make it harder to get up and going, I rigorously try to stick to my morning routine and rituals to get the day going and make the most out of it. Today, I feel like sharing with you guys a bit of what mornings look like. There’s no day in my life that ever goes the same, which I consider it to be very fortunate because for me there’s nothing worse than a monotonous life. However, there’s few things I try to incorporate in my life as a routine because they keep me balanced and mindful.
First thing I do soon after I wake up is to meditate. I have podcasts where I listen positive and meditative messages to get the spirit up. This step is very important for me the earlier the better because Im not so easy going in the mornings and this not only wakes me but lifts me up.
Next thing you already know is my coffee. I know many disagree with the benefits of coffee. This cup in the morning is my fuel that wakes me up. If you don’t want me moody the whole day don’t mess with my morning caffeine fix.
Im not really a person that likes going to the gym because I don’t like people… jokes! I find it more practical for me home exercise because I can adjust my time and routines anytime without having to move myself somewhere. I keep at home a set of dumbbells, fit bands, fit ball and a yoga mat. I follow these two girls from TONE IT UP almost from the beginning when they started their online fitness platform. Today they are a monstrous fitness community and I rely on them as my personal online gym. Simply the best.
After all the hectic activity from the morning skin needs lots of treatment and care. 100% recommend this new hydrating mist from Elizabeth Arden. I use it in the morning, after workout, to set up make up or before beauty sleep. I love the instant moisture that delivers to the skin and the fresh and healthy look. Available also in Germany by Douglas.
Vitamins! The older we get the less the body produces some vitamins and the more that we need to take them specially the ones that the body can’t produce. So this is why it is important to complement your good foods with a multivit complex to supply those needs. However, it’s also important to ask your doctor what vitamins you need because an excess of some of them can cause medical problems.
Hope today’s post it’s helpful, let me know your thoughts.
